HOW ABOUT SHECKY GREENE FOR COMPTROLLER?
It's official, everyone in California politics has lost their fucking minds.
The state Republican party is seriously considering drafting Dennis Miller to run for the Senate next year. Incredible. It appears increasingly certain that Schwarzenegger will win his race (even though I don't buy the CNN polling. They only polled registered voters as opposed to likely voters so the sample is fucked.)
The state party is now taking the position that they can only win if they run celebrities. This is a recipe for disaster. I love Dennis Miller, he's one of the three funniest people alive, but Barbara Boxer is going to humiliate him. It will be a savage and horrifying thing to watch.
It does lead to other interesting questions though. At what point will they recruit Tommy Chong to run for Lieutenant Governor?
