GEORGE W. BUSH, A MAN AMOUNG MEN

George Bush is a famously friendly guy. All you need to see is one of his press conferences and see the affectionate nicknames he gives members of the Fourth Estate (Excepting Adam Clymer of the New York Times, whom he referred to as "a major league asshole" over an open mic during the 2000 campaign.)

The president always wants you to know that he's remarkably well endowed. During every sit down photo-op, he'll have his legs as wide open as humanly possible, his manhood further framed by his hands resting on his knees as if to say "I've got your Chief of Staff right here!" I also needn't remind you of that flight suit back in May. Bush wants you to know that he's so much more than expert at bombing brown people.

But who knew that the President of the United States was such a flirt? Well, Scott Reid does now. Reid, 35 is a senior strategist to Canadian Prime Minister, Paul Martin and widely renowned smart guy. President Bush also has a thing for him. On Tuesday morning in Monterrey, Mexico the president told Reid not once, but twice that he had a "pretty face." He also told Reid that he was "better looking than my Scott" (the presient's Scott being Press Secretary Scott McLellan.) The president's Scott is reported to have broken down weeping and declared that he "feels so cheap" as the Prime Minister gloried in the acknowledgement that he has the prettiest bitch in all of the Americas.

Reid meanwhile, while flattered with his Ned Beatty-in-"Deliverence" moment with the Leader of the Free World, became consumed with sadness, knowing that this is indeed as good as it gets in Canadian politics.
