"AND I SHOULD"VE QUIT BEFORE NEW HAMPSHIRE AND SOUTH CAROLINA! IF I DROPPED OUT BEFORE NEW MEXICO AND MICHIGAN AND TEXAS AND CALIFORNIA.........MAYBE, JUST MAYBE, MY QUITTING WOULD"VE TAKEN ME TO WASHINGTON D.C WHERE I COULD'VE RESIGNED THE PRESIDENCY"
Good news. Howard Dean finally won a primary.
Bad news. It was fourteen days after he dropped out of the race.
Now, if you're anything like me, you're thinking that if he dropped out in say, August of last year....he might have a shot at the nomination. In any event, it might have worked better than the strategy he actually did have
