TALK ABOUT THE PASSION, PART THREE
Several of the critics of The Passion of the Christ have predicted that it will lead to anti-Semetic pogroms. That has yet to happen, but that's only because the film has only been running in North America, which is famously bad at pogroms. Wait for it to open in Europe, Europeans invented anti-Semitism. Oh, the film's debut in the Arab world should be a treat too. God knows, the Protocols of the Elders of Zion has gotten old.
So there hasn't been a rash of violence targeted toward Jews resulting from Mel Gibson yet. But the film has claimed its first domestic assault.
I love how Jesus can bring a couple together.
