THE CONTINUING ADVENTURES OF THE GOVERNATOR
Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger is proving that, if nothing else, he's good at making friends. Coule he better at it? Of course, but you can't expect everyone in Sacramento to be like Education Secretary Richard Riordan. Nobody's quite as personable as he is.
Several have speculated that Arnold is using Sacramento as a springboard to the White House. But maybe, just maybe, he could be eying 10 Downing Street. England is turning out to be quite the friendly place, where all people live as a brotherhood of man....all in one apartment, kinda like the Beatles did in Help!
Of course, nuance is important in politics. Just ask Ariel Sharon. The problem with Sharon is that he's entirely too subtle. One can never be sure quite what he thinks. This, of course, can lead to frequent misunderstandings.
All things being equal, I think it's time that we all sat down, took a deep breath and asked the question that I think comes to us all in moments of reflection, "What Would Cheney Do?"
