FROM THE DESK OF A DOOMED DEMOCRACY
I mentioned earlier that I didn't see the State of the Union because I was out making a living. Oh, and I bought some more porn afterward.
I don't feel so badly having watched it later on vieotape. After all, no one else watched it, either. Fox's American Idol beat the President of the United States' ratings...on all three networks combined.
I suppose most people figured that there was a low likelihood that President Bush would belt out an of-key version of "She Bangs" , so they said fuck it.
This development doesn't auger well for the argument that Fox is just a Republican mouthpiece. Shit, they didn't run the speech at all!
